BIOGRAPHY
Alan was a half-forward-flanker. He only spent one season with Richmond and played with the seniors in the first four games of 1938, with his last senior game coming in the last round of the season. He then moved to Oakleigh and later played with South Melbourne. He served in the Air Force during the Second World War and also represented their football teams in the Services’ Competition. A fireman, he retired to Queensland where he died in 1989.
