BIOGRAPHY
Allister was a utility player who played in defence with the occasional game on the forward line. He was a strong mark and fine kick. During one Reserves game against North Melbourne in 1991, he commenced the game on the wing. Half-way through the second quarter he was moved to full-forward where he kicked 11 goals. He spent all of 1994 in the Reserves and was left off the senior list at the end of the season. In 1995 Allister played in a Premiership side with Leongatha who were coach by Former Footscray player Brian Royal. He was originally recruited from Inverloch-Kongwak via Scotch College.
