BIOGRAPHY
Barry played as a half-back and follower as well as playing some of his early games in the centre. He was a hard trier who possessed the stamina to run all day. He was a member of Richmond’s only night Premiership side in 1962, and he was awarded Life Membership in 1966. After leaving Richmond he coached Burwood to two Premierships in four seasons and also played First XI District Cricket with Melbourne during the 1960s. He now runs his own advertising company and lives in the eastern suburbs.
