BIOGRAPHY
Robert was a ruck-rover who was recruited from a local Richmond Church team. He spent six seasons with Richmond and was a member of the 1927 Grand final team. He missed the entire 1929 season due to injury and in 1930 he crossed to Oakleigh where he was a member of their first VFA Premiership team. He returned to Richmond as the Reserves playing-coach in 1931 and then crossed to Camberwell in 1932. He later moved to Adelaide to live. He was involved in the building industry for many years, and also served the South Adelaide Football Club in various off field capacities. Robert died in 1978.
