BIOGRAPHY
Brian play at full-back, half-back and centre-half-back. Recruited from Melbourne Grammar he spent seven seasons with Richmond and was a rugged, straight-ahead type of player who played very close to opposing forwards. He also played some of his early games as a forward where his best goal tally was 4 against Fitzroy in Round 13 of 1953.
In March pre season of 1957 he re-injured his knee that he hurt while hurdling the previous season, but was able to play in 17 games of the 1957 season including 3 as captain.
He represented the state once and served as the Richmond Football Club Orthopaedic Surgeon between 1967 and 1981. He also served on the committee and he was awarded Life Membership in 1973.
