BIOGRAPHY
Cyril was a follower and defender who was recruited from Mentone. He was a strong rugged type of player who played with Richmond for three seasons. He spent seven of his nine senior games on the Reserves' bench. He later joined the Army during the Second World War. During the war years he fell ill and never fully recovered. He died in 1992. Cyril's brother, Leo was a Richmond, Victorian and Australia Test batsman.
