BIOGRAPHY
Donald played in the back-pocket. Prior to playing with Richmond he was a member of Collingwood’s Grand Final teams in 1938 and 1939 that were beaten by Carlton and Melbourne respectively. He was voted Collingwood’s second best player in 1938 Grand Final. In total, Don spent eight seasons with Collingwood. After spending 1945 and 1946 with Richmond he crossed to City South as coach for one season.
