BIOGRAPHY
Doug was a centre-half-forward and ruckman. He was signed by Richmond after winning a Mornington Peninsula kicking contest. He later played in back-to-back Premierships with Essendon’s VFA team. Away from football, Doug served with the Metropolitan Fire Brigade for 42 years, 22 of those as an Officer. He died in 1975.
