BIOGRAPHY
Fred played in the back-pocket and as a follower. He was recruited from Mooroopna and spent the 1925 season with Richmond before returning to his country town. He later coached Tasmanian club Launceston to the 1929 Premiership. A farmer, he died at Forbes, New South Wales, in 1957.
