BIOGRAPHY
George played as either a centre-half-back or centre-half-forward. He was a fine mark and he moved well when the ball was on the ground. He originally played with Collingwood and Northcote before being recruited to Richmond. He later played briefly with South Melbourne before finishing with Prahran. George served in the army from 1941 until 1944 and died in 1983.
