BIOGRAPHY
Graham played on the half-back-flank whilst at Richmond. He later played in key-forward positions after leaving Richmond. He spent a total of nine seasons with Richmond. He won the Under/19 Best and Fairest award and also played in their Premiership side in his first year at the club, 1958.
He was a determined straight-ahead player who represented Victoria once. He was awarded Life Membership of Richmond Football Club in 1966 and was a member of the club’s only night Premiership side in 1962. He was the third Best and Fairest in 1962.
After leaving Richmond, he moved to Tasmania where he coached Scottsdale and Glenorchy as well as representing the state team. He returned to Victoria in 1971 where he coached in the Gippsland area until 1989. He lived at Warragul where he served as President of the local club for several years, until relinquishing his position at the end of 1992. Graham’s son, Michael, played for the Richmond Reserve and Under/19 teams during the mid 1980s.
