BIOGRAPHY
Ian was a utility player who could be used in an on-ball role and as a tagger. He was a determined player who was not afraid to bore into packs to contest the ball. He came to Richmond from Carlton as a result of the 1992 mid-year draft and performed well once given his chance in the Seniors. He was one of the few players on Richmond’s list, at that time, who had Finals’ experience. Since leaving Richmond, he has played with Sandringham and was a member of their 1994 Premiership side. He is a chartered accountant.
