BIOGRAPHY
Ian was a wingman and half-back who worked his way up through Richmond’s junior teams. His four senior games at Richmond were as a reserve. A strong mark, he was the Under/19’s best player in their 1970 Premiership win. He also ran second in the Reserves’ Best and Fairest in 1972. After leaving Richmond he spent three seasons with VFA club Waverley, but retired at 24 to concentrate on his business career. Away from football, he holds a Science Degree as well as his Masters. Ian now lives in the eastern suburbs.
