BIOGRAPHY
Joe was a rover who was recruited from the local Richmond area. He once kicked 7 goals in a game for the Reserves in 1944. He served in the Army during the Second World War and lost the sight of an eye, in 1942. Despite this setback, he still made the Richmond Senior side in 1944.
