Josh stayed with the Gold Coast and played all 22 games in the 2015 season , but again wanted to go back to Victoria and was eventually traded to Geelong . Josh played 71 games with Geelong from 2013 -2016 but found himself being discussed as a trade for Brett Deledio of Richmond . The Deledio trade didn’t eventuate but he was traded to Richmond in exchange for 2016 draft selection 26 ( Brandon Parfitt ) and 2006 draft selection 60 ( Quinton Narkle ).

Nankervis would have a major influence on the on-field performance of the Tigers in the years to come.
