BIOGRAPHY
Keith was a utility player who started his career with Williamstown before spending two seasons with Carlton. He then served in the Navy, from 1939 until 1942 and 1944 until 1946. He spent the 1946 season with Richmond and was a member of the Reserves’ Premiership team. He also played Senior XI District Cricket with South Melbourne, in 1950/51. He scored 196 runs with his highest score being 100 not out and he took 8 wickets. Keith later retired to the Mornington Peninsula.
Keith became the second Richmond player to ever reach the age of 100. , behind VFA player Archie Richardson (18 July 1879 - 7 March 1981).
Upon his death in December 2021, he was the oldest lived Richmond player ever, and the last player to have served in World War II.
