Kevin was a strong solidly-built player, who played as a key-forward with Richmond. Recruited from Robinvale he once scored 12 goals for the Reserves against Essendon. He kicked 4 goals on his debut against Melbourne in Round 5 of 1943. In 1944 he kicked 23 goals in the seniors which included 4 goals on three occasions. He only managed three games in 1945 and was a member of the Reserves’ Premiership side in 1946. He later coached Ballarat and North Ballarat before returning to Robinvale. After retiring as a player he served as a selector for Robinvale, for 10 years. He is a Life Member of Robinvale Football Club and Sunraysia Football League. A former policeman, he later returned his hand to farming. Kevin died in 1981. His son, Pat, also played with Richmond.
