BIOGRAPHY
Mark is a strongly-built player who impressed early in his career on the half-back-flank. A strong mark and fine kick to position, he plays with plenty of endeavour. He performed consistently well in 1992; however, his 1993 season was cut short due to persistent hamstring injuries. He played only three senior games in 1994 before being de-listed at the end of the season. He was re-drafted shortly afterwards, but did not play a senior game in 1995; however, won the Reserves’ Goalkicking award. He was delisted at the end of 1995. In 1996 he is playing with Frankston.
He originially started his senior career with Sandy Bay in Tasmania in 1986. He was a Tasmanian Teal Cup representative and a member of the Teal Cup All-Australian side in 1987. He crossed to North Hobart in 1988 where he played as a forward. During the 1989 season he kicked 11 goals in one game and 10 in another. Mark also won two club Best and Fairests and two Goalkicking awards, as well as playing in their 1989 Premiership side.
