BIOGRAPHY
Orren Stephenson grew up in Albury and surrounding towns and played Rugby League as a Junior. He switched to AFL football and played at Mangoplah Cookardinia United Eastlakes , moved to Ballarat and played football with Redan with two premierships and a Best and Fairest , and then moved to North Ballarat where he played in three VFL Premierships and won the 2009 Norm Goss Medal as best player in the Grand Final . Orren was drafted by Geelong with pick 78 overall in the 2011 AFL National Draft at that time the oldest first time draftee at 29 years of age. He played his first senior game for Geelong in Round 1, 2012 against Fremantle . Orren played 8 senior games , and with Geelong VFL team added another VFL premiership in 2012. Orren was delisted by Geelong at the end of the 2012 season. Orren was drafted by Richmond with pick 36 in the 2013 AFL Rookie Draft.
After 7 senior games Richmond delisted Orren at the end of the 2014 season.
