Peter was a rover. He was a fine kick and possessed a good football brain. Prior to joining Richmond he was involved in a clearance battle involving several other VFL clubs. His highest individual goal tally with Richmond was 4 against Carlton in 1963 and Hawthorn in 1965. He spent four seasons with Richmond before moving to Sandringham where he spent eight seasons as a player and coach. After retiring as a player he wrote for the Inside Football Magazine and he also coached Parkdale, Sydney Swans Reserves and Richmond Reserves. Peter currently works as an executive with Ansett Airlines and lives in Toorak.
