BIOGRAPHY
Ray was a half-back-flanker who played his early football in Bendigo before moving to Richmond via Williamstown. He spent just over three seasons with Richmond and was a member of the club's first VFL Finals' team in 1916. He then spent a season and a half with Carlton.
