BIOGRAPHY
Robin Nahas played junior football with Oakleigh Dragons (SMFL) and moved to Oakleigh Chargers in the TAC Cup. Robin next played with Port Melbourne in the VFL. Robin was drafted by Richmond with pick 8 in the 2009 AFL Rookie Draft . Robin played his first senior game with Richmond in Round 2, 2009 against Geelong, replacing Kane Johnson who had been placed on the long-term injury list with a knee injury. Robin played well in his first year , 2009, appearing in 19 games , kicking 5 goals in Round 6 against Port Adelaide and winning Richmond’s Best First year player award. Robin played 14 games in 2010 being dropped from the senior team because of lack of defensive pressure. Damien Hardwick was in his first year as Coach and wanted Robin and other players to develop a defensive component to their game. Robin , playing more midfield had a break-out year in 2011 played every senior game averaging 19 disposals and kicking 29 goals and tied for 6 th in the club Best and Fairest. He was also selected in the International Rules Team to play Ireland and was offered a two year contact extension with Richmond . Robin again played every game in 2012 kicking 34 goals. Robin struggled in 2013, dropping form and was placed under more pressure from other players for his spot in the team . Richmond delisted Robin at the end of 2013.
