BIOGRAPHY
Steven was a ruckman. He was a fiery competitor who possessed a good spring. He joined Richmond after spending seven seasons with Melbourne. He was a member of Melbourne's 1988 Grand Final team and their 1989 Night Premiership team. He also won the Demon's Best and Fairest in 1988 as well as representing Victoria. Whilst at Richmond he was plagued with injuries which restricted him to five senior games in 1992. Steven was eventually forced to retire prior to the 1993 season due to a degenerative knee injury.
