BIOGRAPHY
Tim was a left-footed utility who was drafted to Richmond in June, 1992. During 1992 he represented three teams, Box Hill, Melbourne Reserves and Richmond, finishing back at Box Hill for their semi-final. He performed very well with the Richmond Reserves and was a consistently high possession winner. He ran equal third in the Reserves’ Best and Fairest after playing only nine games. In 1993, he eventually gained senior selection after continually finishing in the best players with the reserves. Once given his chance, he performed very well, with one of his best performances being a tagging role against Adelaide Crow’s captain Chris McDermott. He was the ideal tagger as he had a good turn of speed and didn’t mind getting the hard ball. Although he won the Reserves’ Best and Fairest, in 1993, he was de-listed at the end of the season and has spent the past three seasons with Box Hill. In 1995, he captained the VFA team against New South Wales and performed very creditably against former Essendon champion Terry Daniher. Tim also finished second in the 1995 “Liston Trophy” for Best and Fairest in the VFA. Away from football he is a schoolteacher.
