BIOGRAPHY
Wilf was a wingman, back-pocket and half-back. Recruited from Nhill, he won Richmond’s Best First Year Player award, in 1965 and was a member of the Reserves’ 1966 Premiership side. He later crossed to Prahran where he was a member of their 1970 Premiership side. He finished up a much-travelled footballer, coaching Ararat, Dimboola, Rupanyup and Trinity. He played approximately 466 games over 28 years with 10 different teams. Wilf played in five Premiership sides as well as winning three Best and Fairest awards. He is a schoolteacher and now lives in Ararat.
